This is part of a series called Fugazi: Then & Now. Recently I found the long-lost transcripts of four unpublished interviews I conducted with my old friends Joe Lally, Guy Picciotto, Brendan Canty, and Ian MacKaye – collectively known to the world as Fugazi. I thought it would be informative to publish these portraits of the band members as they stood on the cusp of “breaking out,” followed by contemporary interviews here on the other end of the time tunnel.
